Kathy Whitney is a designer based in Pennsylvania and born in South Florida. Hailing from a background in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design and Education from Bank Street College, Kathy developed programs for museum audiences in the greater New York area before returning to design. After creating wire knitted jewelry, Kathy developed beige with the intention of exploring textile techniques and fibers to create innovative handmade pieces that test the boundaries of conventional jewelry.
